The Newtown Meeting House, maintained and administered by the Heritage Preservation Trust, Inc., is a classic
New England church built in 1792 and provides the perfect location for non-denominational, inter-faith civil and
religious wedding ceremonies. It is located in the center of historic Newtown, and is listed on the National Register
of Historic Places (as part of the Borough of Newtown).

The building is owned by the town of Newtown and not currently affiliated with any religious organization.
It has been completely refurbished both inside and out.

The structure is classic New England church architecture at its best, with a 100' steeple housing the 1873 bell,
inside center aisle, velvet cushioned pews seating up to 200 on the main level and a pipe organ in the balcony.

Both a list of ceremony officiants and vendor referrals are provided on request. Wedding planning assistance is also
available upon request.
